Danbury Democratic Town Committee Ward 5

 

Kate Conciatore is a native Danburian.  She graduated from Danbury High School and  Post College with an A.S. in Fine Arts.  She is a Town Committee member since 2001, and continues to serve as secretary  She has two sons Sean and Matthew, three Grandsons, can be reached at k30@snet.net.  


 Joe DaSilva Jr., DDTC chair, is a 1988 graduate of Danbury High School, a 1993 graduate of Western Connecticut State University with a degree in history, followed by a masters in history in 1997. DaSilva, who practices law with the firm of Depanfilis & Vallerie, earned his juris doctorate at Quinnipiac School of Law in 1999. He can be reached at jdasilvajr@gmail.com  



Eleanor Lewis has been a member of the DDTC for over 25 years.  She served as Secretary for 8 years and is presently the Vice Chair.

She graduated from St. Peter's School, Danbury High School and St. Vincent's Medical Center.  She is a registered nurse and served as the school nurse at Danbury High School for 34 years, retiring in 1997.

Eleanor served on the Danbury Youth Commission and the Civil Service Commission.  She also served as a special police officer and is currently a Justice of the Peace.  She was past president of the Democratic Women's Club and a member of the Danbury Democrats.  She served as campaign coordinator for Mayors Jim Dyer and Gene Eriquez and as campaign manager for Paul Garavel, Bob Godfrey and Robert Talarico.

In 1982 she was awarded the Danbury Democrat of the Year citation by Governor Bill O'Neil.  She is an active 5th ward member and can be reached at rnetml@aol.com

Gene was Mayor of Danbury from 1989 until 2002, when he decided to pursue other interests. He continues to advise the Democrats on policy and strategy.
