Jim Kelly is a resident of Danbury since 1980 and a former common council member.  He is a graduate of SUNY Farmingdale with a degree in mechanical engineering and runs his own company, Airflow Laboratory Services.  Jim is also a former selectman from Washington, CT.  Jim is a member of St. Gregory the Great parish and is a volunteer at the Dorothy Day overnight shelter.  His passions are environmental issues both from a business perspective and a political one.

Linda Galloway is vice president of marketing at Bersin and Associates, a research and advisory firm focused solely on research in enterprise learning and talent management. The company’s WhatWorks® research and research-based services are designed to deliver actionable and practical guidance and to improve operational effectiveness and business impact. She has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of technology marketing and public relations. Prior to joining Bersin & Associates, Linda was president of Apollo Associates, a PR and marketing consulting firm which specialized in working with companies in the corporate learning market. Over the last six years, Linda has worked with a variety of companies, including: Articulate, SkillSoft, NetDimensions, NetG, Exxceed, Expertus, Insight Educational Consulting, Genesys Software, Books24x7, SocratEase, Scientific Computing Associates, Intelliquest, ZooLogic, and WatchIT.com. Prior to joining the corporate learning and HR industry, Linda spent three years (1997 to 2000) as Vice President of marketing for Meta Group, an IT and research and consulting firm (bought by Gartner in 2005). During her tenure, she revamped the company’s brand, increased the company’s awareness through public relations, and expanded the company’s event strategy. Linda has also held marketing management positions for On-Line Software, Prentice Hall Software, KnowledgeWare, Datalogix (acquired by Oracle), and EIS International. Ellen Cooke, originally from New Jersey and long time Danbury resident, has been a certified member of the USBC since well before there ever was a USBC, as she started her career in 1968 under the auspices of the Greater Danbury Women's Bowling Association, on whose board of directors she also served for many years.

She is a member of the Greater Danbury USBC Association Hall of Fame (2002) and was the State of Connecticut Doubles Champion in 1981 (along with partner Donna Moore). She has also been a tournament champion at several local women's tournaments, winning both singles and team championships. Ellen also won the Mixed City All Events Championship.

She was a member of two league championship teams, including the Moonshiners team in 1999 and the Late Starters team in 2000.

Ellen has bowled in more than 10 national tournaments and has finished as high as 24th place in the doubles event (in Salt Lake City) with her partner, Ruth Cote.

She has bowled on 30 state tournaments and 36 City tournaments over the years and boasts a career high game of 265 to go with a career high series of 650.

Several years ago, Ellen joined the Old Timers and was elected Secretary, thereby becoming the first female officer in the history of the organization.

She is a longtime member of the Frank Bacon Memorial Strike-a-thon and of the Danbury Democratic Town Committee.
