Lori Kaback,
Town Clerk
Lori
Kaback, elected to the position
of Town Clerk in 2005, has been
employed in the Office of the
Town Clerk for over 13 years
serving the previous 8 years as
Assistant Town Clerk.
She was born and raised in
Danbury and graduated from
Danbury High School and Gibbs
College majoring in the Office
Administration Program. Her
father, Norman Kaback was an
educator/administrator in the
Danbury school system for 42
years and her mother, Carole
Kaback is still a school nurse
in Danbury. She a member of St.
George Antiochian Orthodox
Church.
She was Danbury's Acting Town
Clerk Nov. 7, 2002 - January 2,
2003.

Common Council, Ward 4
John Esposito is currently
the Common Council
representative for Ward 4 and
serving as the Minority Leader.
He is a veteran of the US Marine
Corps and a retired US postal
worker. |

Common Council, Ward 4
Councilman Tom Saadi is
currently serving his fourth
term on the Danbury Common
Council and was elected by the
Democratic Caucus as their
Minority Leader. He has served
as Chairman of many major
Council Committees addressing
issues ranging from municipal
water safety, neighborhood
blight, to the placement of
heart defibrillators in public
buildings. Tom also serves as an
Assistant Attorney General for
the State of Connecticut in
Attorney General’s Consumer
Protection Division.
A Captain in the
U.S. Army Reserves Judge
Advocate General’s Corps (JAG),
Tom has been a leader on
addressing issues affecting
Veterans, Service Members and
their families. He led the
successful effort to pass a
Council Resolution supporting
greater tax relief for
veterans and then lobbied for
passage of Public Act 03-44
allowing municipalities to
provide greater property tax
relief to veterans.
Tom has consistently opposed
municipal tax giveaways to big
corporate developers which
burden residential tax payers
with the bill for these
corporate perks. Tom continues
to push for greater funding for
our Police and Fire Departments
and for new laws to stop growing
neighborhood nuisances.
Tom is active with many civic
and social organizations in
Danbury as well as with the
Connecticut Bar Association
where he serves as Co-chairman
of the Government and Military
Committee. In 2003 Tom received
the Connecticut Law Tribune’s
"Impact Award" for his service
to the Bar and the community at
large.

Fred Visconti has served on
the Danbury Common Council
for over two years,
originally to fill a vacant
position and then elected in
2003. He is a former vice
President of the Danbury
Youth Commission, has been
on the Danbury Airport
Commission for ten years and
was Vice Chair. He is a
lifelong member of St.
Peters Church and a 40 year
member of Wooster Hose
Volunteer Fire Company, # 5.

Duane Perkins has a Bachelor
of Science degree in marketing
from Northeastern University in
Boston, MA and received his MBA
from the University of
Bridgeport. He is a ten year
college professor at the
Naugatuck Valley Community
College. |

Benjamin Chianese is a
Certified Public Accountant,
receiving his BBA in Accounting
from Western CT State
University. He is Chairman of
Environmental Impact Commission,
and has held this position
for two years. He was also on
the Zoning Commission for three
years.

Warren Levy Common Council at large

Warren Levy owns Danbury Metal
Finishing in Danbury. He
is a former Common Council
representative and president.
He is a US Navy veteran and is
active in the Danbury community
through his many commitments
including, the Danbury Lions
(officer), the Salvation Army
(VP), and the Portuguese
Cultural Center, as wells as
being a member of the CT State
Fireman's Association and the
Fairfield County Fire Chiefs.

Board of Education
Bob Taborsak taught history and
social studies for forty years
at Danbury High School. During
that time, he was a successful
coach for both Boy’s Track and
Cross Country. Bob retired in
2002 and is presently
volunteering for the American
Red Cross, the Interfaith AIDS
Ministry and Dorothy Day
Hospitality House. Bob believes
that the Danbury Public Schools
provide an excellent foundation
for students to succeed in
school but that there is always
room for improvement.

Kathleen Molinaro recently
retired from Sodexo School
Services as District Manager for
Connecticut and lower
Westchester County after serving
thirty years. She reported
personal and financial histories
for school lunch programs to 26
individual Boards of Education.
She
says, "I enjoyed being
responsible for feeding so many
of our children and they remain
a number 1 concern."

Theresa
Buzaid, a current member of the
Zoning Commission, is a CSU
Administrative assistant at
Western cT State University to
the academic Vice President.
She is a member of the
Lebanon-American Club and the

a graduate of WCSU and is now
pursuing her masters in
History.

Anthony
DiCaprio, a former member of the
Zoning Commission for ten years,
is a four year treasurer of the
Rotarty Club and a graduate of
Pace University.

ESPOSITO, SR. is a Life long
resident City of Danbury. He
attended St. Peter’s School and
Danbury High School (Class of
67) in Danbury. He was a United
States Army, SGT. From 1968
–1970 and is a Viet Nam War
Veteran. He is a retired
Firefighter/Emergency Medical
Services Coordinator for the
City of Danbury after 27 Years
of service. He is the Past
Secretary, Danbury Firefighters
Union Local 801, a member of the
Danbury Lions Club, Richter Park
Men’s Club, American Legion,
Veterans of Foreign Wars,
Catholic War Veterans & Veterans
of the Vietnam War, Inc. He is
also the Past President of
Danbury Athletic Youth

Registrar of Voters
Marge Gallo has served as
Registrar for many years.
The Office
is governed by Connecticut
General Statutes and financially
supported by the Municipality.
The Registrar of Voters has a
wide variety of responsibilities
for everything from preparing
and certifying the official
voting list, to ensuring we have
fair, accurate and efficient
elections. The staff attends
meetings called by the Secretary
of the State to keep current on
new and pending legislation as
it is proposed and passed.
In addition to overseeing the
elections, primaries and
referendums Marge maintains the
voter registration files,
register voters and conduct an
annual canvass of voters. The
Registrars are responsible for
making monthly changes of voters
based on information received
from various sources such as
DMV. They must also remove those
who have been convicted of a
felony or have moved out of the
